Now that my wacky hyperbole is out of the way, I'll get (mostly) serious.
I'll be honest. When I was first watching Zyuranger, I found Goushi dull. I didn't ~hate~ him or anything, he just didn't seem to have much going on outside of the 'calm, collected foil to the lead' trope. But somehow over the course of the series, he wound up not only become my favorite character, but my favorite Black Ranger ever. And how did that complete turn around happen? Well, let's see if we can figure that out.

Beauty and the Beast was, of course, amazing. <3 Yeah, yeah, Disney is evil, but I've never seen the movie in theaters before, so I went! With my mom! It kind of had the same problem the Lion King had i.e. sometimes the characters look sketchy, buuuut the ballroom scene and the castle were gorgeous.

I know a lot of people, myself included, are worn out by fic challenges. But I better ask this while I still have the guts: who would be interested in a (general, at least right now) tokusatsu fic exchange? I realize that most people would probably want to write OOO and possibly Fourze, but surely if enough people are interested, we can get more fandoms included. The more fandoms, the better.
There are no real idea beyond that atm. I'm just interested if other would participate.

Awhile back, I finished the Power Rangers franchise. It's just now that I'm organizing my thoughts ('organizing' in the loosest sense of the word). These are, of course, my opinions and what I got from the franchise. Everyone else will see it differently, etc.

I could reflect on 2011, but honestly, this year was so awful, why would I want to. Good things happened, but I think it's safe to say that the bad outweighed the good. I could also hope that 2012 will be better, but I did that last year, and look what had happened. This will be pretty awful no matter what if things keep going the way they are in my life, so I'd rather not waste energy pretending to be happy or whatever.
That said, 2012 looks like it will be a busier year. At least I'll have things to do?
